I understand that seeking help of any kind can take a great deal of vulnerability; I provide a non-judgmental, compassionate therapeutic environment where emotional safety is paramount.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) with 6 years of experience working with adolescents and adults. I approach therapy with humanistic principles in mind. In practice, this looks like honoring the full range of human experiences through finding individualized pathways to personal growth. I ground therapy interventions in Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I layer these techniques with elements of attachment theory and somatic work for more trauma related issues.
I have experience counseling clients with depression, anxiety, relationship stressors, adjustments to life transitions and other identity related impasses. I can help clarify patterns of thinking and behaving which may be inhibiting one’s ability to make meaningful change. Other therapy journeys can take the shape of building a more secure, emotionally regulated, connected state within oneself or developing a more stable sense of worth.
My priority is helping clients find their path to achieving a more fulfilling life. I look forward to helping you work toward your therapy goals in whatever form of change is desired.
